Intelligent Space is a leading centre of expertise in using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to help improve planning and development of the urban environment. As a licensed developer partner of the UK's Ordnance Survey and an industrial partner to University College London's Centre for Advanced Spatial Analysis, Intelligent Space is at the forefront of GIS knowledge.

Our spatial databases of development plans are used to increase coordination between different agencies and across local government boundaries and budgets. They provide a tool to ensure that improvement schemes link together and create an integrated network. Multiple plans in the same area can be identified and inter-linked, and areas with underspend and low provision can be targeted for future spending. See our Database of Pedestrian Improvement schemes for Central London Partnership for more information about this work.
