The National Maritime Museum is planning to add a major new wing to an existing building. Scheduled to open in 2010, the new wing will house a dedicated special exhibition space and archives. Atkins Intelligent Space was commissioned to review current circulation patterns and model pedestrian flows in order to assist the operations team in understanding how to manage different scenarios, including exhibitions, openings and corporate events.
