New GIS Book Features Intelligent Space Partnership

Intelligent Space Partnership's work with Geographical Information Systems has been featured in GIS in Land and Property Management by Peter Wyatt and Martin Ralphs, published this autumn by Spon Press.

Information on ISP's use of advanced GIS techniques to survey, visualise and model pedestrian movement is featured in Chapter 8, Property Market Analysis. Featured projects by ISP, with many illustrations, include pedestrian safety work at St Giles Circus in London, analysis of route choice through the Sidgwick Campus in Cambridge and movement modelling for retail clients. The use of GIS to analyse natural surveillance and 'desire lines' for movement is also discussed.

GIS in Land and Property Management by Peter Wyatt and Martin Ralphs is a comprehensive guide to using Geographical Information Systems, both in principle and practice.
